With her 200 butterfly time of 2:02.55, Dover grad Aniella Janosky finished fifth at the NCAA Division II championships a few weeks ago, capping an outstanding rookie year at Indiana University of Pennsylvania by being named an All-American.

The PSAC champion in the 200 fly, Janosky also placed 12th in the 100 fly (56.09) at the national meet and for her efforts was named the women’s swimming PSAC Freshman of the Year.

She was also on four medal winning relays for IUP at the PSAC championships. She helped the Crimson Hawks placed secone in the 200 medlay, 200 freestyle and 400 medlay relays, to go along with third place finishes in the 400 and 800 free relays.

Janosky’s older sister, Christina Janosky, capped an outstanding swimming career at IUP by being named an All-American after swimming a Hawks’ record 4:57.18 in the 500 free, good for a sixth-place finish at the NCAA meet.
